Call For Demonstrators

We are seeking demonstrators and proposals for mini-workshops to be held during the BRFS 2010 at the NC Arboretum, October 2 through November 28. We aim to produce approximately 12 programs that will include demonstrating weaving, spinning, and felting processes, and that interest and educate the public about fiber arts. These programs should be able to be delivered on site either in the Education Center or in the dye garden area on the Arboretum grounds, and with minimal equipment needs. We are seeking a mix of demonstrations and programs that include hands-on participation, and encourage interaction from the public, and that can last anywhere from two hours, to a half day.
