WeaveCast - A Podcast for Weavers
Syne Mitchell's WeaveCast. Fun and interesting. Episode 20 features our own Barbara Miller and Marjorie Warren. They tell Syne about Scottish Weaving and the Kilbarchan Project.
A Word of Warning
A correspondent of the webmistress writes: "Those of us in the Tacoma, WA area were stunned to hear a weaver's wonderful collection had gone to the dump when her elderly, distraught spouse 'took care' of his wife's weaving stuff by trashing 'all those nasty old books and boxes of old yarn.' Now we've all assigned a 'Dedicated Weaver' to approach our elderly, [own] distraught spouse who'll offer to price fairly and sell our collections. And [we have] clued in the husband and children to expect and accept this help...
"This may be one of the few times in mankind's history of that our children have grown up and moved so far, and their interests are so different that they truly don't know what a lot of our toys are for..."
