Tracy Woodard, Covered In Cotton

For three generations, the Woodard family has put their hand and heart into the fertile soil of Darlington, South Carolina.

Covered in Cotton was sown from that same seed planted five decades ago - the dream to cultivate something lasting and a harvest that impacts families beyond our fields. With a vision to create a product from their locally grown upland cotton, Ty and his wife, Tracy, spent years dreaming of a way to share not just their story, but the story of agriculture.  And after an actual dream in December 2017, Covered in Cotton was born with a mission to cultivate.

Covered in Cotton cultivates and crafts 100% locally grown cotton products made exclusively from cotton grown on our family's third generation family farm (Woodard Farms) in Darlington, SC.  Covered in Cotton partners with locally-owned businesses right in our backyard of the Carolinas to craft our raw cotton into yarn, which is then woven into our collections of throw blankets, hand towels and baby blankets.

Born from our own story of heartache and hardship, our Cotton with Cause mission gives us the opportunity to donate one throw for every ten we sell to a children's hospital; and one baby blanket for every ten we sell to a family ministry in South Carolina.

Tracy Woodard will share her story of how Covered in Cotton began and their journey to what they produce today.  Tracy will have lots of cotton products to sell after the program!  For more information about Covered in Cotton go to https://coveredincotton.com/.
